
Cardinal Health Petrolatum Emulsion Contact Layer Dressing, 3" x 8"
Petrolatum emulsion contact layer dressing is sterile, occlusive wound dressing made with a flexible, non-adherent knitted cellulose acetate fabric coated with a formulated petrolatum emulsion. It is used to help aid fluid transfer into the secondary dressing. The non-adherent property of the dressing helps to facilitate atraumatic removal by providing protection to the wound bed during dressing changes.
Type of dressing: Primary.
Change frequency: Up to seven days.
Indications: Skin grafts, venous ulcers, surgical sites, first and second degree burns, pressure ulcers, lacerations and abrasions, cosmetic surgery sites.
Latex-free.
